Although powder coating is the preferred method for outdoor furniture refinishing, our conventional wet paint process is the solution for projects that cannot withstand the heat during the baking phase of powder coating.
The term “wet paint” refers to the conventional process of coating metal products. Criterion uses the finest liquid acrylic enamel in which we formulate our own wet paint medium. The process is accomplished through spraying a liquid paint to an even thickness over the surface to be coated. There is a slower heat cure cycle than powder coating. Using state of the art mixing machinery we can special mix our wet paints to offer custom colors. Powder coating is limited to preset factory formulations.
